I built the SPIN kernel, and it pains me to have to "insmod" unchecked object files into my OS.egshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16747303668141215436noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5722310642266356003.post-49336193814211508232012-07-14T01:32:02.622+02:002012-07-14T01:32:02.622+02:00I still think someone should take JNode project an...I still think someone should take JNode project and rewrite all the Java in a JVM dynamic language (preferably Clojure).Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5722310642266356003.post-58661804862021903052012-07-13T20:57:02.736+02:002012-07-13T20:57:02.736+02:00OK. The OS is now just a base on which to build the browser (viz. WebOS, etc.). We're using dynlangs, but they're in webapps instead at the OS level.Justinnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5722310642266356003.post-81889370957011277362012-07-13T14:52:40.816+02:002012-07-13T14:52:40.816+02:00I'm thinking of Dylan and NewtonScript, and to...I'm thinking of Dylan and NewtonScript, and to a lesser extent Obj-C which did work out.Manuel Simonihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07840673741485280526noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5722310642266356003.post-76644623651441314422012-07-13T07:25:56.061+02:002012-07-13T07:25:56.061+02:00There was a 1990s movement of operating systems to...There was a 1990s movement of operating systems to dynamic languages?
